The #2 ranked USAO Drovers (18-1, 6-0 SAC) beat the Friends University Falcons (14-13, 4-5 KCAC) with a 4-1 victory.
USAO sent JR. righty Adam Moraga to the mound and he would dominate for the Drovers. Moraga tossed 7.1 scoreless innings and allowed just 5 hits on the day for the Drovers. With the win he improves to 2-0 on the. Edgar Cuevas came in relief for the Drovers and he would throw 0.2 innings on just 5 pitches. In to shut the door for the Drovers was Ricardo Velez who threw 1 inning and allowed 1 run on 1 hit. Velez finished his day with 2 strikeouts.
The offense for the Drovers put together a 8 hit performance as they would be led by Ian Laureano who went 1-3 with a double and 1 RBI. Gus Wilson went 1-5 with a single. Cristian Laboy went 1-5 with a single. Luis Pelayo went 1-4 with a single. Colton Bensch went 1-3 with a single. Joey Pena went 1-2 with a single. Andres Romero went 1-3 with a double. Isaac Raab went 1-3 with a single for USAO.
