The USAO Drovers (17-8, 11-7 SAC) overpower the Central Christian College Tigers (11-13, 5-12) 75-69, in a pay back game. Just 3 weeks ago on Jan. 17th the Tigers beat the Drovers 69-63 on their home floor in McPherson, Kansas. With this Drovers win they even the season series at 1 and jump to 4th in the Sooner Athletic Conference standing jumping Langston University.

The Drovers were yet again led by their big men, Geno Artison and Dedrian Parmer. Artison, the 6-9 forward put together 20 points on 7-12 shooting. He would also grab 9 rebounds, just one short of his 4th double-double of the season. Parmer the 6-6 forward finished the night with 28 points, shooting 9-11 from the floor. He would also snag 12 rebound on the night for his 9th double-double of the season. Parmer is now tied for 13th in the NAIA in the double-double category. The Drovers got a good game out of Stephon Hall, as he would score 8 points, grab 3 rebounds and dish out 4 assists on the night.

“This game meant a lot to us because we wanted to protect our home court, and also we had lost to them in the previous matchup.” Drovers guard Stephon Hall said. “We all had a lot of energy to play because we’re not only fighting for a good seed in the SAC tournament but for a better seeding in the national tournament.”

The Tigers were led by Steve Kuminga, as he scored 18 points on 7-11 shooting from the floor with7 rebounds and 1 assist on the night. Jubril Osagie recorded 18 points on 4-10 shooting and 7 rebounds for the Tigers.
