The Reinhardt Eagles (#3) came out ready to play, as they would beat the Campbellsville Tigers (#2) 8-3. The Eagles would be led by great pitching, and that would be backed up by great offensive play.

The Eagles offense would put together 14 hits as they would be led by Kaleb Swayze, who was 3-4 with 3 single, and 3 RBI’s. Daniel Rodriguez went 3-5 with 3 singles. Shermon Graves would go 2-4 with 2 single. Chandler Wold went 3-5 with 3 singles. Jacob Cagle would go 1-5 with a single. Abel Nunez went 1-4 with a triple. Christian Martinez went 1-4 with a single.

The Eagles would get a great start with SR. Dylan Powers, as he would throw 6.2 innings and would allow just 1 run on 7 hits. Powers would finish the afternoon with 4 strikeouts. With this win Powers will now move to 11-3 on the season. The Eagles used two relievers in this contest with Johnny Croley and Heriberto Casasola. Croley would throw 1.1 innings and allow 1 run on 1 hits and would finish with 1 strikeout. Casasola would come in to close the door, as he would throw 1 inning, allow 0 runs on 2 hits and would end up striking out the side.

The Tigers offense finished with 10 hits, as they would be led by Ty Housden who would go 3-4 with 3 singles. Logan Roberts went 2-3 with a double and a home run. Marco Murillo went 1-5 with a single. Bryson Wallet would go 1-3 with a double. Jalon Harton went 1-3 with a single. Austin Peterson went 1-4 with a single. Tyson Solis would go 1-5 with a single.

The Tigers would start SR. Tyler Deason and he would go 6 innings and allow 6 runs on 11 hits. Deason would finish his night with just 1 strikeout. With this loss Deason now moves to 6-3 on the season. The Tigers would use two bullpen arms with Justin Phillips and Marco Murillo. Phillips would throw 1.2 innings, allow 2 runs on 2 hits and would strikeout 2 on the night. Murillo went 1.1 innings, and would allow 0 runs on just 1 hit.
