Outfielder Greg Barnette said “Offensively we did well for about 5 innings in a row we scored at least 1 run which is what we want to do score 1 run an inning. Guys all throughout the lineup stayed with the approach and we were able to string hits together, even a couple homers. Pitching did its job as always, Francis gave us solid innings and Angel shut the door. Good team win.”

Head Coach Mike Ross said “Offense did a great job in game one and the pitching staff did a good job limiting their scoring opportunities. Game 2 was the worst defensive performance we’ve had. Jose pitched really well and over came some tough jams. Offensively we hit some balls hard but nothing to show for it until the 7th. Proud of the way we battled back to earn the walk off win.”
