The first quarter got off to a very rough start for both teams. The Panthers and the Redskins, combined for just 7 points. The Panthers would win the first quarter 5-2 with 5 points from Kemp. During the second quarter they would start rolling, as the Panthers would win the frame 10-7. In this quarter Kemp added 4 points. For the Redskins, Long had 3 second quarter points. 2nd Half:
In the 3rd quarter the Panthers would dominate and would win the quarter easily 22-9. During this quarter the Panthers were led by Ashley Kemp and Caton Muncy who would both score 7 points. The Panthers would open the quarter on a 9-2 run, that would last until 3 minutes left in the quarter. During the 4th quarter the momentum slowly started to shift. The Redskins went on a 17-4 run, with 4 three-pointers. During that run, Morgan White had 2 three-pointers. The Panthers would break that stretch, as Ashley Kemp would hit 6/9 free throws to seal the game.
Final Thoughts:
The Panthers shot 9/14 (64%) from the charity stripe, while the Redskins shot 6/12 (50%) from the line. Rush Springs would finish with 10 turnovers, while the Panthers had just 9.
